This is Larry at a Jimmy Buffett concert (of course we are Parrotheads)  He gets to build cages and aviaries and all the stuff that isn't a whole lot of fun.  Oh and yes don't forget, sometimes he gets to baby-sit (birdy-sit) while Janet goes away on vacation.  Larry  is an expert on incubating and hatching eggs, he has a really good success rate.  He is also excellent at assisted hatches, currently holding an almost 100% success rate on hatches.

On the right is Janet  (on the left; Cathy of Lady Hawk Parrots is to the right of her). Janet sometimes feels as if she was born with a handfeeding syringe in her hand.   She finally got her kids into school and then decided to deluge herself with a whole lot more.  She's not complaining either,  she really enjoys it.  Janet has been raising birds since she was 10 years old, she has been raising them by hand for over 15 years now.  She still falls in love with every single one of them, but that's okay, that's why they turn out to be so lovable! 

P.S.  I try to answer all your emails, but sometimes it's too much and I just can't get to them all.  I do my best, and I do read every one of them. We also have a spam catcher that can work overtime!

Our daughters Donna and Elisabeth are very helpful with the birds.
They are quite knowledgeable about raising parrots for their age and are a great help.
